Professor Veronica Taylor is an Asian law specialist and Director of the University of Washington of Asian Law Program. She studied law and Japanese language at Monash University, Australia (LL.B., BA.) and Asian law at the University of Washington (LL.M). She is best known as a Japanese and Korean law scholar, but has been doing work in Southeast Asia for over five years in areas such as anti-corruption, contracts and licensing, legal professions and institutional reform. Her work covers areas considered by Indonesians as economic law.
